Subjects Taught
Digital Electronics, Electronics and Computer Concepts, Electronics I, Electronics II, Electronics III

I graduated from Brewer High School in 1978 and am actually lucky enough to be teaching in the same classroom I attended for Radio and TV over 35 years ago. I studied Electronics, Machine Shop, and academics at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville. I have also attended Calhoun College, Snead State, and Athens State.

I spent 20 years working in industry, with the last 16 years at Eaton Corporation in Arab where Electrical controls were manufactured. I started on the bottom of the totem pole and worked my way up through hard work and education.  I worked at several interesting job positions during my tenure there, including automation technician, multi-craft maintenance technician, and automation supervisor. Although I am a jack of all trades, I specialize and enjoy in electronics and electrical controls the most.

I am currently in my fourteenth year of teaching here at Brewer High School, although I got a late start in this chapter of my career, beginning to teach at the rightful young age of 40. Honestly, my first year of teaching was tough, but I have grown to love my job and enjoy it more each year.
