GENERAL INFORMATION for ALL STUDENTS ACT TEST DATES *NOTE: ACT Testing Services recommends a student take the ACT for the first time in the spring of the 10th grade year. Regular registration test fee: $33.00 ACT Plus Writing $48.00 Late Registration: add $21.00 NOTE: Beginning fall term of 2010, many schools in Alabama (including UA) are requiring the ACT Plus Writing as part the admission application.
